About Charlotte

"My career as a writer started when I was young, writing poetry, song lyrics, short stories, and flash fiction for my friends and family. After a few minor successes, pieces published in anthologies and later online, I decided to try writing a full-length novel. My first attempt was a bit of a disaster, but I didn't give up, and I finally got that coveted 'First Contract' in 2012. Since then, I've written several more novels and short stories, and I don't intend to retire for at least another 50 years."

As of 2026, Charlotte has had over 700 articles on various subjects published worldwide, both online and in magazines. She has been featured in the national press and on radio, been featured in several anthologies, and written several award-winning books.

​Award-winning author, Charlotte, lives in Somerset with her husband, two teenagers, and menagerie of pets and can always be found with a cup of tea in her hand. When she's not writing, Charlotte is most likely in the garden, horse riding, playing piano, reading, or making TikTok videos for her 200k followers.

 

Her favourite books are Hitch-Hiker's Guide to the Galaxy by Douglas Adams, Rebecca by Daphne Du Maurier, and the Fourth Wing series by Rebecca Yarros. She also enjoys books by Agatha Christie, Tami Hoag, and Kelley Armstrong.
